Apple Mousse

- 5 green apples, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup (tea) of sugar
- 2 spoons (soup) of lemon juice
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin powder (12g)
- 1 can of evaporated milk ice cream

Syrup:
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped
- Half cup (tea) of sugar

Preparation:
Place in a saucepan, apples, sugar, a cup (tea) of water and lemon juice. Bring to low heat and simmer for about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside. Add half a cup (tea) of water to gelatin and cook in double boiler until dissolved. Mix the gelatin to the applesauce until smooth and set aside.
Beat the Ideal milk in mixer until fluffy and creamy. Add the milk to the Ideal applesauce, mix, place in bowls
individual and refrigerate for about 4 hours.
Meanwhile, prepare the syrup. Place the apples, sugar and half a cup (tea) of water in a saucepan and simmer for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat, let cool and pour over the mousse.

Yield: 8 servings
