Ingredients
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1 cup water
4 passionfruit 120g each (sieve the
pulp)
3 tablespoons sour cream
sweetener equivalent to 12 teaspoons
of sugar
2 egg whites
How to make
Mousse:
In an ovenproof dish, soften the
gelatin in water and microwave for 1 minute at full power. Allow to cool and
add the passion fruit pulp, sour cream and sweetener.
Beat the egg whites until firm and
lightly mix, incorporating the blend of passion fruit. Pass a form of mousse
and light the fridge
Syrup:
In a baking dish, mix the pulp and
cornstarch dissolved and microwave for 3 minutes on maximum power. Open and
stir in half the time or to a consistency of syrup.
Allow to cool and sweeten to taste. At
serving time, pour the broth over the mousse.
Freezing
Freeze separate the mousse sauce in a
baking dish or on the form itself.
Thawing
Thaw in the refrigerator.
Passion fruit mousse
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can of cream
The same measure of passion fruit pulp
(put a little water)
Pass the pulp in a blender and strain.
Then put back in
blender and add the condensed milk and
cream. Whisk, pour in a casserole dish and put in the fridge.
